Overview
The LMS dashboard project was developed to address the challenges faced by students and administrators in managing and engaging with online learning. It serves as a centralized platform that simplifies access to educational resources, tracks progress, and enhances overall productivity.
Background Story
In an ever-evolving learning environment, efficiency and accessibility are key to success. On one side, students need easy access to course materials, schedules, assignments, and progress tracking. On the other, administrators must ensure the system runs smoothly, from managing classes to monitoring student performance.
Key Feature
Adding key features to a dashboard is crucial for both administrators and students to enhance functionality, address specific user needs, and improve the overall experience. Here are some of the essential features:
Primary Research
Secondary Research
I carried out secondary research by comparing similar dashboards to identify the features they offer. Additionally, secondary research helps refine objectives for primary research, ensuring a more targeted approach, and validates findings by comparing them with established data.
User Persona & Information Architecture
After conducting various research, I then created user personas and information architecture based on the findings. The user persona communicates user insights, ultimately enhancing the user experience. Meanwhile, information architecture organizes and structures content and features, making it easier for users to navigate and find information. It improves the overall user experience by providing intuitive navigation, facilitating efficient access to content, and laying a strong foundation for product development and iteration.
